Objectives

  • Guiding and helping students following BIT to complete their final year project successfully.
  • Any other students following degree or professional level programs that require project support guidance.
  • Building real world software/web design and development skills.

Required skills/competencies:

  • Basic programming/web development skills (in the selected technology).
  • Passion for programming and willingness to take challenges.

Course Strategy

  •   Students (individual or small group) can reserve project consultancy sessions (of 4 hours each).
  •   Each session can be utilized for skill gap fillings or project specific guidances.
  •   Students have the control on how many sessions they needed and can be arranged at their convenient time. (Most students require 4 to 8 sessions.)
  •   Subsequent reviews of the project artifacts.. (Individuals can meet the instructor and informally review their product/report at convenient time both parties or by online collaboration)

Course/Sessions Structure (Students can decide the areas to cover in the session.)

PHP projects

  • Review/skill gap fill for HTML, CSS, JavScript/JQuery, PHP.
  • Introduction to Code-Igniter MVC framework. (Optional)
  • Review of Use cases, ER and class diagrams as necessary.
  • Developing MVC routine for CRUD operations.
  • Configure and develop reports.
  • On demand technical consultancy.

Java web (JEE) projects

  • Review/skill gap fill for HTML, CSS, JavScript/JQuery, JSP/Servlet.
  • Review of Use cases, ER and class diagrams.
  • Developing routine for CRUD operations.
  • Configure and develop reports (IReport/JReport).
  • On demand technical consultancy.

Java stand alone projects

  • Review/skill gap fill for Java, OOP.
  • SWING UI development.
  • Database connectivity using JDBC.
  • Review of Use cases, ER and class diagrams.
  • Developing routine for CRUD operations.
  • Configure and develop reports (IReport/JReport).
  • On demand technical consultancy.

Course Fees (Per session of 4 hours)

  • Rs 2000/= for 1 # of student.
  • Rs 1500/= for each student for group of 2 or more # of students.

  • 1. This course is intended to facilitate and guide students to do their projects. Aurora will only provide guidance and examples etc.. and by no mean involve hands on development of individual’s project. It is responsibility of individuals to do their project work.
